Environment is an important educational element
In the past, people thought that the elements of education were teachers and children. Teacher teaching, children's studies. Therefore Montessori has basic principles for the creation of the environment. Children learn autonomously under the guidance of the environment
Children can automatically use the environment and choose independently. Adults have no right to direct or order. Children choose what they want to do and adults respect their wishes. In this way, the child's initiative is fully utilized to make learning easy and enjoyable.
Limited freedom
The child's work has a great deal of autonomy and enjoys great freedom, but this freedom is not unlimited. Montessori  has a complete set of rules for children's activities. It also requires  children to exercise self-discipline while ensuring that each child  fully enjoys freedom. Does not damage the environment and does not interfere with others.
Adults are the helpers of children's activities
Adults are no longer educators; they turn from educators to facilitators. Adults give children guidance, help, and advice. And these help are all when the children need it. Through observing and understanding the children's development,  progress and problems encountered, adults then decide on ways and  timings to provide assistance to children and avoid unwarranted  interference with children.
Teaching aids are tools for children to learn
Teaching aids are learning materials that allow children to understand life, practice independence and build personality. Montessori  has produced many teaching aids to highlight and isolate certain  features of life, objects, and phenomena so that children can perceive  it. When the child has the ability to perceive and recognize these characteristics, it is returned to life. In  this way, the things that teachers had taught and taught in the past  have been transferred to colorful teaching aids. Teaching aids have  caused children's interest and children have grown up in their work. At the same time, these teaching aids also have the function of error correction.
High-capacity cognition
Montessori education is a large-capacity cognition and her field is very broad. Teachers need to constantly produce new teaching aids according to the needs of children. Due  to cultural differences in various countries, she chose the two areas  of senses and mathematics and produced a large number of teaching aids,  which are almost universal in the world. However, languages, science and technology, and life require teachers to design and produce based on local culture.
